POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, the Administrative Coordinator provides general administrative support and coordination for the Dean of Students office, including budgetary support and processing, administrative scheduling and support for the Associate Deans and Title IX Coordinator.  This position manages student and faculty funding requests and co-curricular and emergency grant funding, and provides administrative support for the Associate Dean/Title IX Officer. 

Responsibilities include creating website content, budget tracking and support for accounts, managing Student Affairs electronic publications and Student Affairs sites on the portal and Collegiatelink.  This position assists the Executive Assistant in managing the health insurance waiver system for students.  The Administrative Coordinator, in conjunction with the Student Services Coordinator, is responsible for document management for the Dean of Students office, inputting data in other database systems (including Maxient), and providing general program assistance to foster student, faculty, and staff interactions and initiatives. 

The Administrative Coordinator sets up and coordinates meetings and retreats, manages conference budgets, plans events, tracks and writes reports on the emergency grant and co-curricular funding programs.  The Administrative Coordinator also conducts clerical tasks such as managing calendars, arranging events, meetings and retreats, answering phones, reconciling reports, maintaining the office file system, data entry, and note taking.  This position may be responsible for hiring and directly supervising one or more student employees in the office.

Note:  This position is partially funded on a grant.

QUALIFICATIONS:   Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with office management, budgeting, and managing websites and electronic publications at an academic institution with a liberal arts mission and philosophy is preferred.  Experience with working with students and faculty desirable.

REQUIRED HOURS:  The regular hours for this part time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., four days per week (32 hours per week) except during the designated summer period when office hours end at 4:30 p.m.  Overtime, holiday, weekend and evening work hours will be required.  Travel may be required.  Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division.
