Job Description

The Senior Learning Delivery Consultant is responsible for delivery of intermediate to advanced training for one or more Claims workshops, including but not limited to auto technical, property and auto liability training. The individual lectures and leads students in various hands-on exercises related to the students' roles in the Field. The individual instructs students on customer service interactions and other technical duties, administers tests, and grades student performance in those interactions and duties. The individual also may act as a back-up instructor for other Claims workshops to which they are not regularly assigned. The individual may also partner with Field staff, Home Office staff and key stakeholders to identify training needs and provides subject matter expertise on adult learning and content delivery to influence planning for e-learning, training workshops and delivery of training. The role may also oversees the development and management of workshop curriculum to reflect current and updated Field and Home Office processes and ensures that proper measurements and assessments capture the impact of training deliverables. The individual also delivers compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention. The individual works independently, prioritizes the individual's own responsibilities, and manages the individual's own workload. This job will also be used for the Catastrophe Training and Development role.

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
  • Manages, researches, and resolves highly complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
  • Reviews customer satisfaction results; recommends, designs, and implements personal and business unit action plans

Training and Education

  • Delivers multiple training modules, which include both classroom/webinar lectures and hands-on demonstrations, customer simulations, and other activities
  • Leads projects and collaborates with training stakeholders to gather information and determine and prioritize training needs
  • Partners with instructional designer on content updates and maintenance
  • Participates in workshop development meetings to discuss current and upcoming courses, workshop content, feedback, and hands-on coursework

Administrative Items

  • Coordinates the initial set-up of classes, which includes reviewing the class list and preparing materials for the class
  • Runs reports that compile and tabulate students' individual work to create a final report for the individual classes
  • Compiles statistics from classes to report to management as requested

Project Management

  • Assists with the design of new course material for training/employee development workshops to support the goals and objectives of the business
  • Assists with the design of new course material for training workshops to support the goals and objectives of the business, conducts a thorough needs analysis to identify training needs and adheres to established best practices
  • Determines scope, duration and time required to complete project work

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years facilitating experience in a classroom setting
  • Minimum of 2 years of Instructional Design experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of auto adjusting and/or property adjusting and/or auto liability experience
  • Prior experience with various learning technology and authoring tools including but not limited to:  Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Prezi, Blackboard, and video production software preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher and Excel
  • Interact effectively, and coach others on interacting effectively, with internal or external customers and act with empathy
  • Advanced knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards within the auto technical, property and auto liability discipline
  • Applies highly advanced knowledge of analytical procedures to reconcile, manipulate, and recognize patterns of data
  • Advanced knowledge of problem solving and preparation of complex reports for analysis
  • Assist leadership in achieving business unit objectives
  • Has and maintains all appropriate licenses and registrations for the role per state requirements
